You may use your card at ANY Long Beach Public Library to check out items.

We offer one check out and two renewals on most items.

Books, magazines, pamphlets and recordings except fiction on tape: 3 Weeks

Adult fiction on tape (Maximum loan period is 6 weeks) 1 - 6 Weeks

Videos and DVDs: 2 Days

• You must be 18 years or older to check out videos and DVDs.
• Friday or Saturday video loans may be returned to the Main Library or a neighborhood library on Monday.
• All videos and DVDs may be left in the book drops if the Library is closed.
