We've tried to provide you with some good sites to help you with those dreaded assignments. Also, the Library has Homework Helpers in each of its Family Learning Centers located in each neighborhood library. These people can give you one-on-one help with your homework.

This site is considered to be one of the world's largest free reference sites. Encyclopedias, dictionaries, almanacs and homework help on English, math, history, geography, science, and social studies.

Math Homework Help

Long Beach students from 4th grade to 12th grade and college introduction level can visit any Long Beach Public Library to get immediate, free help from qualified tutors through Live Homework Help, an online tutoring service from Tutor.com that connects students to expert tutors in math, science, social studies and English via the Internet. Spanish-speaking tutors are available in math and science.

Days and Offered:

- Every Day, 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. (Pacific time)

- In Spanish available Sunday through Thursday, 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (math and science)

- Access outside the the library only
